🌶️ Habanero Gummies

Sweet, fruity, and pack a habanero punch!

🧪 Ingredients (Makes ~50 small gummies):

  • 1 cup fruit juice (apple, mango, pineapple, or orange work well)

  • 2 tbsp lemon or lime juice (for tang + preservation)

  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup (optional for added sweetness)

  • 1–1½ tsp Exotic Chillies Red Habanero Chilli Paste (adjust to taste – go easy!)

  • 3 tbsp gelatin powder (or 4 tbsp for firmer gummies)

  • Optional: ½ tsp fruit extract or zest (e.g. lime, orange)

  • Silicone gummy moulds or ice cube trays

🥣 Method:

  1. Prep the liquid base:
In a small saucepan (off heat), mix fruit juice, lemon/lime juice, and honey/agave. Stir in the habanero paste and whisk until fully combined.

  2. Add gelatin:
Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the liquid. Let it bloom (sit undisturbed) for 3–5 minutes until it swells and absorbs the liquid.

  3. Heat gently:
Turn the burner on low and stir continuously for 3–4 minutes until all gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil – just gently heat until smooth.

  4. Taste and adjust:
Carefully taste a drop. If you want more heat or sweetness, adjust now. (Caution: it’s hot!)

  5. Pour into moulds:
Use a dropper or spoon to fill your silicone moulds. Work quickly before it sets.

  6. Chill to set:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully firm.

  7. Unmould & store:
Pop the gummies out and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

🔥 Optional Variations:

  • 🍓 Use strawberry juice for sweet-heat berry bombs

  • 🍍 Use pineapple juice for tropical fire gummies

  • 🥭 Mix mango + lime for a Mexican-style treat

  • 🍻 Add a splash of beer or soda for an adult version

⚠️ Warning Label Suggestion (For Fun & Safety):
